Mimic tomes hide in plain sight. They have mundane titles and boring stories. They are very good at mixing in with the other tomes. Maybe they change their titles from time to time. You can pick one up and read it cover to cover; you’d never notice that two pages won’t come apart easily. That page only opens for special occasions. When mimic tomes are relegated to the low traffic, dark, dusty corners of vast libraries, they might just find a vulnerable young filly wandering among the stacks to capture and breed.

While the mimic tomes change their plot, they are unlikely to stray from their genre. They favor specific fetishes. When two tomes have complementary desires, they find it better to team up and each take what they want from half of the prey.
